Here's a little about myself..
i am a soon to be Big sister which a answered prayer in every way!! My family is in the process of adopting a beautiful little girl from china! since i began talking i have always wanted a little sister but instead i was the baby in the family (which is okay too;)...)Now God has allowed my family to have the blessing of adopting Emma Lael Li Sisler:) she is in a VERY good orphanage...its called New Day Foster Home! NDFH is a Christan orphanage, this you don't hear of often. Its the only one china and we have the chance to get my new baby sister from there!! Emma is a little trooper she has tetrology of fallot...and has already had 2 open heart surgeries! she's only THREE! she is a ball of fun though....she has healed from both of her surgeries now and just like a normal hyper little three year old girl! My family and i are going to china in 7 to 11 weeks to get Emma...yayyy!!! my mom will soon be the mother of a 15 year old,a 18 year old,and a 3 year old:) is she starting over or what?!? lol ..but she knows that this is Gods plan so she will NOT fight our God! through the adoption there has been a lot of rough times! but if at the end if this i know that our family will be the closest we have ever been and that is something to look forward too! my Big brother is starting college this year..and is going to attend North Georgia college and state university this fall.. and he will be commissioning in the ARMY after college. He turned 18 in May,and even though he comes across all big and bad//he is a big teddy bear!! i love my brother sooo much! he has made a BIG impact on my life! Then there are my parents..Kent and Andrea sisler...they are GREAT roll models in life for me. They support me in all my decisions i make...ESPECIALLY the decision to follow God well there is a little bit of me and my family in a nut shell . I hope that you continue looking at my blog to watch where God takes me and to see the crazy plans he has for me:)
i am so PROUD of you nattie...God has great plans for you...when you were born i prayed for God to draw you close to Him...He has been faithful in doing just that...keep your eyes on God.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE YOU SO MUCH

:o) I too am a mom with a, well... now 20 yr old son and 16 yr old daughter and my name is Andrea. We have 2 children from Ethiopia, and I too started over. :) They are age 5 and 6 now.
ReplyDeleteIt will be fun to read your perspective. My daughter was the baby of the family for years, though she did not really look forward to being a big sister, she kind of enjoyed the baby-hood. :) She does love her little brothers a ton now!
Blessings to you and your family!!
Andrea
